News: CMB 2016 – A new record for the Bulgarian wines

The 23rd edition of the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles in May 2016 awarded 109 Bulgarian wines in total.

During the evaluation phase a panel of 320 international experts tasted 8,750 wines from 51 countries. Bulgarian producers sent 256 wines. Almost half of these wines were awarded a medal. Fifty Bulgarian winemakers won medals, which accounts for 71% of all participating wineries. Experts say this is an unprecedented success rate.

A new record for the Bulgarian wines:
- 4 Grand Gold Medals;
- 47 Gold Medals;
- 58 Silver Medals;

This is Bulgaria - a wonderful wine pruducing country, a wine country of the future!
