TASTING NOTES

Colour:  Pale golden yellow colour with greenish nuances;
Aroma: White fruits, peach, toasted bread, delicate aroma with medium intensity.
Taste: Medium to full body and distinguishing acidity, expressive flavours of apple and peach. Fine and delicate bubbles with medium size and good intensity carresing gently the palate. Refreshing and delicate carbonation!

Blanc de Noir Brut Cuvee made using the traditional method from the best quality Broad Leaved Melnik Vine grapes. Estate grown, disgorged en bottled after ageing two years on the lees (Sur lie).

Melnik is also the name of the smallest Bulgarian town, picturesquely situated amongst a fantastic scenery – strangely shaped pyramids of  sand and limestone. During the 17th -18th century it became a flourishing tobacco and wine-producing center, whose fame spread to many European countries. The beautiful fortress-like houses with broad wine cellars, cut in the limestone rocks date back to this period.
