This Pamid - an ancient grape variety with a new face and bright future!
Colour: Beautiful light ruby red colour;
Aroma: Delicate aroma with notes of red fruits such as wild strawberry, raspberry and cherry;
Taste: Light tannin structure and supple impressions; Elegant body with incredibly soft tannins; Fruity, refreshing acidity and fine spiciness, followed by a delicate finish.

HOW TO DRINK IT
Meals: Grilled salmon with a creamy dill or lemon butter sauce is a classic pairing that perfectly complements both the flavors of the wine and the fish. Other fatty fish, such as tuna and mackerel, would also go well with this wine; Beef Wellington, pheasant, turkey (stuffed), veal entrecote with marsala sauce, veal entrecote with mushroom sauce, veal entrecote with red fruit sauce, chicken with mushroom sauce, partridge;
Cheese: Young Gouda, Emmental and Edam are examples of mild cheeses that combine well with a velvety red wine, such as Pamid;
Temperature: 15-16°C (slightly chilled ;)
THE GRAPE
Pamid is one of the oldest grape varieties, growing in Bulgaria. Wines from Pamid usually have a light red colour. Its flavour is fresh, with fruity nuances, an elegant body and a soft finish. Pamid wines are usually consumed young due to their low content of phenolic substances.
THE REGION
Southern Region – Thracian Lowlands
This region includes around 35% of the vineyard massifs and is characterized by a moderate continental climate and good distribution of precipitation during the vegetation period.
ZAGREUS WINERY
Zagreus Winery was built in 2004, the year of the first harvest. The winery is an ultra modern building with a fully integrated cycle of production. In order to perform maximum quality control during the whole process of wine production, Zagreus only uses grapes from its own vineyards.
As of 2010 all wines of Zagreus are organic according to the directives of the European Union. No herbicides or pesticides are used in the vineyards. The owners are proud of their fully integrated cycle of production. The whole process from the vines to the bottle happens at one place and is in "own hands", which guarantees full quality control.
