Natural wine, limited availability. 

Many wine lovers already know and have tried our VINICA Mavrud, made from dried grapes. A wine that has been officially rated as the best wine in Bulgaria. A number of times alredy only in the recent years. Vinica Mavrud has also been reviewed as very good by Jancis Robinson and the two Dutch wine magazines Perswijn and Proefschrift. 

So now one more variant of the grape Mavrud. Something different and may be even more appealing. Mavrud made from dried grapes but now without contact with oak. Dried grapes, pure fruit, enormous concentration, a lot of layers on the palate and this everything with a minimum human influence on the taste.

HOW TO DRINK IT

Meals: Excellent pair for roasted red meat (beef, lamb), pork, duck and poultry; turkey with cranberry, pasta, roasted vegetables;
Cheese: Brie, Camember, Danish Blue, Gouda, Gruyere, Pecorino Toscano, Sharp Cheddar, other well-aged cheeses like Stilton.
Temperature: 16-18°C

ZAGREUS WINERY

Zagreus Winery was built in 2004 and is located in the hart of Thracian Valley (Thracian Lowlands) in Southern Bulgaria. It is a modern complex with a fully integrated cycle of production, beginning from the grapes and ending with the bottle of wine. The winery is equipped with the most contemporary production facilities with the ability to control and optimise all processes of fermentation, vinification, stabilisation, bottling and ageing of the wine.

Today the winery owns more than 130ha of vineyards and uses only grapes from own vineyards. Since 2010 all the vineyards of Zagreus have been cultivated in accordance with all EU directives and requirements for organic production. In 2013, after a mandatory three-year controlled period, the winery was certified for BIO/Organic production.
